About OptiCore Automation
Technology Independent. Business Focused.
OptiCore Automation LLC is a warehouse automation consulting and systems integration firm. We help manufacturers, retailers, e-commerce companies, and 3PL/4PL operators design and implement intelligent warehouse automation solutions — from strategy and simulation to system integration and optimization.
Why OptiCore Exists.
Warehouse automation is one of the most capital-intensive investments a business can make. The decisions made during the design phase — which technologies to use, how to configure the system, how to integrate software and equipment — determine whether the investment delivers its intended return.
Most automation vendors are selling their own equipment. Most system integrators are aligned with specific manufacturers. OptiCore was founded to provide something different: independent engineering expertise focused entirely on the client's operational and financial objectives.
We evaluate all relevant technologies. We design systems based on data. We validate designs through simulation before a single dollar is committed to equipment. And we support implementation through go-live and stabilization.
Our Philosophy
How We Think About Automation.
Start with the operation, not the technology.
Every warehouse is different. Volume, SKU profiles, labor availability, storage requirements, throughput, order profiles, building constraints, and business objectives all influence the optimal automation strategy. We evaluate the complete operation before recommending any technology.
Design the system, not just the equipment.
Individual machines do not create value in isolation. The value comes from how the complete system — storage, transport, picking, packing, software, and labor — works together. We optimize the system, not individual components.
Validate before you commit.
Simulation and digital twin modeling allow us to test system designs, identify bottlenecks, validate throughput, and optimize configurations before any capital is committed. We do not recommend systems we have not validated.
Measure everything against ROI.
Automation must create measurable business value. Every recommendation is evaluated against CAPEX, labor savings, throughput improvement, utilization, payback period, and long-term operational value. If the numbers do not support the investment, we say so.
Capabilities
What We Bring to Every Engagement.
Warehouse Engineering
Deep expertise in material flow design, storage system selection, picking methodologies, conveyor and sortation, robotics, and overall warehouse architecture.
Systems Integration
WMS, WES, and WCS integration expertise — connecting warehouse management, execution, and control systems with automation equipment into a coordinated operational ecosystem.
Simulation & Modeling
Discrete-event simulation and digital twin modeling to validate system designs, test throughput scenarios, identify constraints, and optimize configurations before implementation.
Technology Evaluation
Vendor-neutral assessment of AMR, AGV, ASRS, goods-to-person, robotic picking, sortation, and all relevant automation technologies — matched to operational requirements, not vendor relationships.
Financial Analysis
Rigorous ROI modeling including CAPEX, labor savings, throughput improvement, utilization rates, payback period, NPV, and sensitivity analysis across technology scenarios.
Implementation Support
Vendor selection, contract support, system integration oversight, testing and commissioning, go-live support, and post-implementation optimization.
Client Segments
Who We Work With.
Manufacturers
Production facilities and distribution operations requiring automation to support manufacturing throughput, finished goods storage, and outbound fulfillment.
Retailers
Omnichannel and e-commerce retailers managing high-volume, high-SKU-count fulfillment operations with demanding throughput and accuracy requirements.
E-Commerce
Pure-play e-commerce operators requiring scalable, cost-efficient automation to support rapid growth and seasonal volume variability.
3PL / 4PL Operators
Third and fourth-party logistics providers building automation capabilities to serve multiple clients across shared or dedicated warehouse environments.
